Andrew Brown Park East Opens July 1!

After several months of anticipation, Andrew Brown Park East is ready to welcome its first guests on Saturday, July 1, 2017! Celebrate Coppell – Party in the Park will commemorate both the grand re-opening of the park as well as Independence Day and will highlight the park’s wide open spaces, four impressive pavilions, bridges and waterways with food, live music and fireworks from 2-11 pm. Andy Brown Parks Plan.

The park should have a balance of active recreation and passive green spaces to foster opportunities for small group outings, families and friends to gather daily, and large group activities during seasonal events.  An interactive Festival Plaza  with Grand Pavilion and waterside Civic Green could become home to civic gatherings, festivals and other community celebrations. Re-branded sports areas are anticipated to anchor Andrew Brown West and Central for local youth sports activities. Recovered open space, expanded natural areas, trail connections and picnic pavilions should provide enjoyment and preservation of the beautiful natural setting that have made Andrew Brown Parks a favorite destination.
