Postcards were mailed to each household in Coppell (17,193 total) providing project information and seeking attendance at the Public Input meetings.
The May 2014 City Desk Water Bill insert included information about the projects and upcoming meetings and was mailed to 13,999 households.
Meetings were announced on the City and departmental Facebook pages, as well as City and departmental Twitter  pages which reached the following number of Facebook Fans and Twitter Followers:
Facebook: 4,284 Fans
Twitter: 3,084 Followers
Press Releases which included information about the upcoming projects as well as meeting dates, were sent to the Citizens’ Advocate, Neighbors Go (Dallas Morning News), Coppell Gazette, Irving Rambler, and Coppell Bubble Life.
Emailed weekly to 5,338 subscribers, the City’s weekly online newsletter contained project information and meeting dates. For the emails containing meeting date information, there was a 21% open rate among subscribers.
