“If you haven’t visited the newly renovated Cozby Library and Community Commons, I invite you to stop by and check it out. This beautiful facility now offers six study rooms, a conference room, business center, and lots of meeting room space for the public. New tables and chairs throughout the building provide plenty of seating for meeting and collaborating. Teens will love the colorful new space designed just for them. The special toddler zone with its variety of interactives will engage children in imaginative play. We have lots of new books and eBooks, audio and eAudio, and DVDs. We also offer laptops for in-house check-out, TV monitors for collaborative work and wireless printing. And to top it all off, a new drive through-book return and holds pickup is available on the west side of the building. Your library is waiting for you – come see us!”

Cozby Library and Community Commons is open!

The William T. Cozby Public Library expansion project provides more functional, adaptable spaces for visitors, innovative technology and the ability to meet the future needs of a family community.  The expansion of the library has come as a result of community input beginning with the development of Coppell’s 2030 plan.  Community needs assessments and a feasibility study conducted in 2010  further underscored the demand for additional library space to serve the residents of Coppell.  The project expanded services to include a business center, a creative learning space, study rooms, and community gathering places.
